High Holidays with Chabad Jewish Center of S. Clemente
You’ll find Hebrew/English prayer books, contemporary messages and insights, and a warm, friendly room where no one gets lost in the service. The kids have their own program, and there’s a Kiddush buffet after services.
No membership required, just a reservation. There is no seat charge and donations are appreciated. Along the way there’s a community lunch on Rosh Hashanah, Tashlich down at the beach, and a break fast when Yom Kippur ends.
Schedule of Services
The full run of the days, from Rosh Hashanah through Simchat Torah, with candle lighting and fast times for San Clemente.
Rosh Hashanah Community Lunch
The morning service ends and lunch begins, right there. Everyone is invited, there is no charge, and people tend to stay a while.
Tashlich & Shofar
The second afternoon of Rosh Hashanah moves down to Linda Lane Beach: Tashlich by the water, the shofar out in the open air, and swag bags for the kids.
Yizkor Memorial Book
High Holiday Guide
How-to guides, essays, videos, and the meaning behind each of the days. Good for a first Rosh Hashanah or a fiftieth.
