On the second afternoon of Rosh Hashanah we walk to the water, say Tashlich, and hear the shofar over the waves.

Tashlich happens outdoors. We stand at the edge of the water, read a few verses, and symbolically send the past year downstream. Then the shofar sounds, which at the beach carries a lot further than it does indoors.
What to expect
No prayer book knowledge required and nothing to prepare. Come straight from the morning service or meet us down there.
For the kids
Every child goes home with a Rosh Hashanah swag bag.
